As the manager of the Finance Department in South America the core responsibilities are to support the organization in South America with Business Control, Credit Management and the Order to Delivery Process. The responsibilities include planning, forecasting and follow up of the business in South America and to be a key person in the Regional Management Process. With support from ACC and Region Americas, manage Credit Management and Trade Finance to support the business in South America. In close cooperation with Region Americas and the Global Logistic Function manage orders, inventory and deliveries in South America.
Plan, forecast and follow up on volumes, sales, profitability, expenses and other relevant KPIs as well as supporting the local team and CFO with ad hoc analysis and reporting.
Lead and support the Business Analyst and ACC in the month end closing process and proactively forecast the result of each month.
Lead and support the Business Analyst in developing financial statement analysis, developing credit cases in Credit Portal and promote case approval. Chairman of the Local Credit Committee.
Build trust and cultivate relationships with dealers, OEMs and other stake holders
Develop receivables insurance relationships and develop collaterals such as LCs and guarantees.
Work closely with the Volvo Shared Services team in the collection processes.
Order to Delivery
Manage and support the local Front Office in Curitiba with focus on excellent customer service and delivery precision
Work with Region Americas and the Global Logistic Function to manage orders, inventory and deliveries in South America.
Work closely with the General Manager in South America and the local management team to develop the business and organization in South America
Support the CFO and General Manager in the local and regional management process.
