Master of Science (equivalent to Engineering degree in Brazil) – Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computational or similar;
Good knowledge of heavy-duty truck application and how Control Systems strategies impact transport solutions or good knowledge of engine or after-treatment or electromobility functions;
Previous professional experience in embedded software development, ideally for automotive products;
Solid knowledge of specific tools – Matlab/Simulink and C programming languages;
Driver licence for trucks will be considered a merit;
Other computer science / programming language skills (e.g. Matlab scripts, Python, code version control, data analysis, machine learning, etc.) are considered a plus;
Fluent in English and Portuguese (Written & Verbal).
Develop software strategies, functions and features aiming to enhance the final product in features such as fuel consumption, driveability, compliance with emission legislations and electric propulsion. It implies handling several phases of products life cycle, from Advanced Engineering to Product Projects and Product Maintenance;
Be active on the quality domain by performing critical analysis, evaluating the complete system, proposing, testing and following-up solutions;
Interface with a number of stakeholders – project team members, SW development team members and other engineering areas – in our multi-site organization, creating strong networks driving proactive and constructive co-operation;
Being an active community member and contribute with process teams.
