You have an academic degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing or similar and several years of experience in the field, working in a large, complex matrix organization;
You have a deep understanding of both the internal and external communication arena and many years of work experience in the communications field;
You switch easily from strategic planning and coaching others, to more hands-on tasks like creating contente and organizing events;
In addition, you have a customer and business oriented mindset with experience from managing the needs of stakeholders from a variety of cultures and backgrounds;
You have a good command of Office 365 digital tools, as good knowledge in modern communication tools;
You are fluent in Portuguese and English and are an experienced storyteller and writer, driven by a strong outside in perspective;
Additional fluency in Spanish will be highly desired.
The overall mission is to translate Volvo Trucks Latin America’ business strategy into engaging internal communication;
You will have the overall project management responsibility for selected internal communication initiatives;
This includes setting up communication plans, securing messages across channels, creating content, execute the plans and follow up to maximize the impact;
The role also includes work with quarterly business updates, to make sure that our colleagues are up to date with where we are heading as a company;
Another part of the job is to be a strategic communication business partner to headquarter functions;
You will work closely together with our market companies in Latin America, as Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Peru;
You will support the markets with communication plans and execution, making sure the business strategies and targets come alive, contribute to employee engagement and secure consistency with Volvo Trucks Latin America’ overall strategic communication agenda;
You will also be editor for the regional intranet, newsletters, and Other internal channels.
