Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalente;
Proven professional experience with specific wiring tools – Saber, Catia and Pro/E;
Previous experience in the automotive industry in the electronics hardware field with particularly good knowledge of Engine and Vehicle systems;
Knowledge in documentation tools (Kola, PDMLink, Protus) will be considered a merit;
Fluent in English and Portuguese (Written & Verbal);

As a wiring harness engineer, you will be working with the technical development of heavy-duty and medium-duty powertrain wiring harnesses and power cables engaging yourself in projects and product maintenance activities while providing solutions to optimize demands on quality, deliveries, cost, and features (QDCF);
Additionally, you will be responsible for the electronic control units of the complete powertrain ensuring that we are delivering the right hardware for the specific application;
Developing both electrical and mechanical designs of harnesses taking into account systems and interfaces requirements, physical constraints, and final product dynamics aspects;
Being responsible for the technical release and documentation such as drawings, technical regulations, CAD models, installation documentation, and product structure;
Working in close co-operation with suppliers, systems engineering, system and component owners, purchasing, manufacturing, and aftermarket;
Ensuring a smooth information flow inside the group to external counterparts enabling proactive and constructive co-operation;
Be an active community member and contribute with process teams;
As a member of a team that is also responsible for system integration and other electronic hardware components an open mind and flexibility to take other engineering activities beyond this original scope will be well regarded.
